Recently, Eyebright Medical and Meituan Health held a signing ceremony under the theme "Strategic Cooperation for Mutual Success." The agreement establishes a strategic partnership focused on in-depth collaboration in areas such as solutions for 24-hour smart contact lens stores, product operations, and digital marketing. At the 2024-2025 China Economic Annual Conference, a representative from the Ministry of Commerce announced plans to accelerate the rollout of policies aimed at promoting the "first-release economy." This includes the development of digital consumption and the promotion of "AI+" consumer initiatives.
The "first-release economy" refers to economic activities where enterprises launch new products, introduce new business models, services, and technologies, and open flagship stores. It encompasses the entire development chain, from the initial release or exhibition of products or services to the establishment of physical stores, research and development centers, and even the setting up of corporate headquarters.
In October 2024, the Beijing Municipal Medical Products Administration established the "Interim Regulations on the Management of Self-Service Medicine Vending Machines in Beijing's Retail Pharmacies." This initiative encourages retail pharmacy chains to set up self-service medicine vending machines at key locations such as major transportation hubs, tourist attractions, large shopping centers, hotels, residential communities, and community medical institutions. The goal is to further meet the public's 24-hour medication needs and address the "last mile" issue of convenient access to pharmaceuticals for consumers.

Citizens can place orders anytime via the Meituan platform, where a humanoid robot automatically sorts and quickly prepares the orders. The process includes generating electronic receipts, sealing the products, and placing them in a self-service pickup cabinet, from which delivery riders can retrieve them using a code. This 24-hour smart store not only provides residents with a faster and more accurate "zero-distance" purchasing experience for contact lenses but also significantly enhances store efficiency and operational productivity.
